Background: 

Unlike other Smooth É products, the Smooth É Scrub is marketed particularly at young consumers who face the problem of pimples and oily skin. The mood & tone of this product segment is notably more humorous in line with the target.

Campaign idea: 

The first TVC deals with the subject of oily skin, in Thai “na mun”. However, this is also the term used for “potato planting season”. Apparently having ended up in the wrong talk show, a young man is asked about his experiences with oily skin, but answers the questions with his knowledge about planting potatoes…

The second execution deals with the problem of pimples, in Thai “sew”. A young woman with a huge pimple on her nose is being interviewed about her personal story of having opened a bakery shop. Mesmerized by this sight, the lady conducting the interview constantly mixes up the names of the girl, her friends and share holders with the word ‘pimple’… Having to face a pimple this annoying, pimples is all she can think of.
